about the artist

Nina has always had a passion for science and art.  She started her post secondary schooling at TRU studying for a Bachelors of Science with a double major in Computer Programming and Mathematics.  In her second year she took a design class as an elective and realized that Art was her first love.

Transferring to Emily Carr, she graduated with a Bachelor’s in Media Arts.

As an emerging artist she has participated with the Western Front’s Sonic Playground and a variation of her grad piece Chromatic Environment was displayed at the Arnica Artist Run Center in her home town of Kamloops.  For ten years she has worked at a local 4Cats Arts Studio as and instructor of kids and adult programs and has submitted annually to The Sketchbook Project run out of the Brooklyn Art Library in New York.  Her project Written Connections has been seen at the White Rock Community Center in 2016 as well as at the Revelstoke Visual Arts Center and Armstrong Art Gallery and Museum in 2017.

Currently she is pursuing further education to become an Art Therapist, while not busy with school work she is creating pieces for two of her current projects Luminous Landscapes, which she is entering into various shows as they become available and Meditative Mediums, which she is selling through her Eclectic Eclectic persona on Facebook and Instagram.
